I am Daisuke Yamazaki, Vice President.
Finally, a new event will start in Nagoya.
The name of the event is "Nagoya's Future in the Night".
We will enjoy talking together with you,
This event is to think about the future of Nagoya and the Tokai region together.
MOTHERHOUSE now has three stores in Nagoya.
And, talking to customers in Nagoya and Tokai every day,
I am thinking about what we can do for the future of this community.
So, the Corona Disaster also opened, connecting people with each other.
It is only now that we are able to feel real,
We would like to organize an event to think about the future of Nagoya.
Each time, we spotlight the challengers who will create the future of Nagoya and the Tokai region,
Yamazaki will hear about their lives and challenges.
We will then involve the participants to think about the future of the community together.
Afterwards, there will be a reception and light refreshments for everyone to connect with each other.
The guests of the first dialogue were,
Megumi Nabata, President, Nishiki 2-chome Area Management Co.
Nishiki 2-chome, Nagoya, was originally one of Japan's leading textile districts.
Nishiki 2-chome, with the involvement of various community members,
Mr. Nabata is developing a new "town" while blending history and the future.
Behind the scenes, new urban development efforts are being made.
How are you creating "Kaijo," a town where people gather?
With so much history and people involved, how do we involve different people in the city's development?
How will it breathe life into a contemporary place that tends to be inorganic?
Nishiki 2-chome base, and at the cafe "Cafe Nanaban",
We will listen to Mr. Nabata's story and consider the future of Nagoya.
We hope you will feel free to join us.
We look forward to your participation.
