And now we are finally going to hold "Create the Future Night" here in Hiroshima.
The guest for the first installment is Chiharu Taniguchi, who is the head of Mina Garten, a new community space in Minaga, Hiroshima, and is gaining attention in the world of urban development.
Minagarten has received the 18th Hiroshima Urban Development Design Award and the 2023 Good Design Award, and has been visited by visitors from around the world as a new community space in the city.
Mr. Taniguchi, who has been passionate about the future of Hiroshima, was also very active as a partner in the opening of the Ciminto Hiroshima store.
I, Daisuke Yamazaki, will be looking at Mr. Taniguchi's thoughts on Hiroshima and the life story that led him to this desire.

He has been involved in creative and cultural activities such as composing music, manga, and theater since childhood, and studied architecture at Kyoto University and the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Architecture.
He has experience in directing and producing various projects in the world of architecture, media, and traditional culture.
In the spring of 2020, he will return to Hiroshima after 21 years.
Mina Garten, a renovation of the former site of his family's horticultural business, won the 18th Hiroshima Urban Development Design Award (cityscape category) and the Good Design Award (urban development category) in 2023.
In October 2023, he established Minasaka Corporation, a planning and consulting company of which he is the president. With the message of "A world where each individual can bloom in his or her own way and everyone can prosper," he aims to create a community based on collective knowledge and co-creation.

He decided to join the management of MOTHERHOUSE, a company he had been involved with since before the company was founded,
He became Executive Vice President in 2007 and Representative Director and Vice President in 2007. He travels overseas, mainly to developing countries, and is involved in both marketing and production.
He is also the leader of "Warm Heart, Cool Head.", a management seminar to "give shape to your thoughts". He is also an external director of Que Inc. and an external director of the Japan Blind Soccer Association.
