Thank you for your continued support of MOTHERHOUSE.
We are pleased to announce that Mr. Mamun, Factory Manager of our own factory in Bangladesh "Matrighor", has been appointed as the new Director of MOTHERHOUSE.
From now on, he will also serve as the factory manager of "Matrighor" and the director of "MOTHERHOUSE".
With the addition of Mamun as a new director, the more powerful team MOTHERHOUSE will work as one to realize the philosophy of "Creating a global brand from developing countries".
I was moved and shaken when I heard that I had been asked to join the board of directors. I never imagined this would happen.
I joined the company as a craftsman, and as a factory manager, I have always thought about product development and production. I am looking forward to joining the business side of the company as a manager, but I also feel the need to further improve myself.
Our brand works with the involvement of many different countries, and we enjoy doing it. We will continue to do our best to become a bigger global brand.
[Eriko Yamaguchi (Representative Director) Comments
Mamun's appointment to the board of directors of MOTHERHOUSE in Japan is 100% a result of his achievements and contributions: he leads a staff of over 300 people in the Corona disaster, he never stops developing new products, he continues to improve in terms of quality, and overall, he is a very good financial manager.
We believe that the significance of having a leader from the production area as a board member of our brand, which started in the production area, can be another dream in a developing country.
Daisuke Yamazaki (Executive Vice President and Representative Director) commented
When I first met Mamun, we did not yet have our own factory in Bangladesh, and we were still going forward, believing only in our mission and the idea of "Creating a global brand from developing countries". 15 years have passed since then.
Fifteen years have passed since then. Mamun has built a wonderful factory, inspired over 300 colleagues, and produced wonderful products in Bangladesh that reach our customers. MOTHERHOUSE I would like to seriously cross the border between developing countries and developed countries, between producers and customers.
This appointment to the Board of Directors embodies our desire MOTHERHOUSE I look forward to working as a team to expand the company's business globally, and I am looking forward to even stronger management as a team.
