Nepal is surrounded by the majestic Himalayas. Cocoons grown in villages in mountainous regions are transported three hours to the capital city of Kathmandu, where they are transformed into fluffy cotton, which is then spun into yarn by women using a spinning wheel.

The finished threads are woven into scarves by craftsmen with more than 20 years of experience. Only about three scarves can be woven in a day to prevent the soft yarn from breaking. The more time it takes, the more the unevenness, thickness, and softness of the hand-spun waxed silk yarn stands out in the scarf.
